The Vagina Monologues

Augustana College will present "The Vagina Monologues," a performance of personal monologues by Eve Ensler on topics including sexual experiences, body image and accepting yourself.

Performances will begin at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 4 p.m. Sunday.  There will be an art raffle during intermission, and all proceeds will go to Family Resources.

Audience members are encouraged to attend the Take Back the Night rally on campus after the Sunday performance.

"The Vagina Monologues" has been performed at Augustana for more than 16 years, only skipping 2021. It has been translated into 48 languages and performed in more than 140 countries. Ensler also created V-Day, a global movement to stop violence against women and girls. Through V-Day campaigns, local volunteers and college students produce annual benefit performances.
