Augustana College will help stock the shelves of our local River Bend Foodbank on Giving Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019!
For every gift of $10 or more, Augustana will give $5 to the River Bend Foodbank and stock the Campus Cupboard with the rest.
River Bend is the largest hunger relief organization in eastern Iowa and western Illinois. It gave more than 17,000,000 meals to the hungry last year.
In addition, the college is collecting donations and items for Augustana's Campus Cupboard, which helps students in need fill their pantries with healthy choices.
River Bend Foodbank supports the community and Campus Cupboard supports campus. Your gift supports both!
Giving Tuesday is celebrated worldwide on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. It kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.
Augustana faculty, staff and students volunteer many hours in the community. They are effective and sought-after problem solvers who apply broad areas of expertise to help solve community problem.
This is just one more way to help.
