DESCRIPTION:The Salon is a weekly gathering of students\, faculty\, staff\, and administrators.&nbsp\;It is a time and place for discussion of interdisciplinary ideas and shared experiences\; everyone is welcome.\n\nEach week\, a guest&nbsp\;from the Augustana Community is invited to lead discussion based on a theme. The theme for this term is the breakdown or perceived breakdown of civility in American public discourse.&nbsp\;\n\nThao Chu and Christian Elliott\, two peer tutors in the Reading/Writing Center\, will draw upon their experiences as tutors and students to lead a conversation about unvoiced\, overlooked\, and underestimated voices on campus.\n\n&nbsp\;\n
