DESCRIPTION:The annual Shockingly Modern Saxophone Festival returns to Augustana College\, featuring solo and chamber music.\n\nGuest artists will include Jorge Hoyo from Mexico City and the festival will commission a new work from the German composer\, Hainbach.\n\nThe festival also will feature performances from Augustana faculty members and the Augustana College Saxophone Studio.\n\nThe festival events are free and open to the public.\n\nSchedule\n\n10 a.m.&nbsp\;Concert One with members of the Augustana Saxophone Studio\n\n11 a.m.&nbsp\;Saxophone masterclass with Jorge Hoyo\; students will perform)\n\n2:30 p.m.&nbsp\;Concert Two with&nbsp\;Randall Hall and the&nbsp\;world premiere of new work by Hainbach\n\n3:30 p.m.&nbsp\;Guest artist Q&amp\;A with Jorge Hoyo\n\n7:30 p.m.&nbsp\;Concert Three:&nbsp\;Jorge Hoyo\, festival guest artist\n\nAll events will be held in Wallenberg Hall inside the Denkmann Memorial Building.
