Augustana Symphony Orchestra Concert: The Power of Fate

The Augustana Symphony Orchestra will perform its spring concert, "The Power of Fate." 

The performance will be an exploration of three musical treatments of fate, including Verdi's dramatic overture to the opera "La Forza del Destino," Tchaikovsky's romantic depiction of Shakespeare's ill-fated lovers in his "Romeo and Juliet" overture, and Beethoven's groundbreaking Symphony No. 5.
