French Film Festival: "Breathless"
The 1960 crime drama "À bout de souffle" ("Breathless") will be shown as part of the French Film Festival.
Directed by Jean-Luc Godard, "Breathless" was one of the earliest, most influential examples of French New Wave (nouvelle vague) cinema. The film attracted much attention for its bold visual style, which included unconventional use of jump cuts. (Wikipedia)

On the lam, he turns to his aspiring journalist girlfriend, Patricia (Jean Seberg), hiding out in her Paris apartment while he tries to pull together enough money to get them to Italy. But when she learns he is being investigated for murder, she begins to question her loyalties.
