Masterworks III: Water Music

The Quad City Symphony first explores English and German rivers through Handel’s Water Music, a perennial favorite and Baroque Masterpiece, originally performed right on the Thames. Next, our beloved principal cellist Hannah Holman is spotlighted in Elgar’s lushly emotional Cello Concerto. The program climaxes with Schumann’s epic and swirling Rhine River tribute, Symphony #3.
