Careers in International Development and Non-Governmental Organizations

CORE will host an information workshop primarily for sophomores and juniors (though all are welcome) who may be interested in an international development or an internship or career with a non-governmental organizations. 

This is a new area for career development exploration for many and the first time it will be offered by CORE.

The workshop will introduce:

• ID and NGO definitions and functions
• The problems and potential solutions that are addressed by these types of organizations
• Types of projects and success measures
• What to expect and how to get started for those wishing to explore careers in this area
