Men’s Tennis Championships

Augustana will host the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin Men’s Tennis Championship today through Saturday.
 
Today’s first-round matches will feature:

No. 3 seed Millikin vs. No. 6 North Central
No. 2 Augustana vs. No. 7 Elmhurst
No. 4 Carthage vs. No. 5 Carroll
No. 1 Wheaton vs. No. 8 Illinois Wesleyan
 
Friday’s schedule includes the fifth and seventh place matches, followed by the main draw semifinal matches. The weekend concludes on Saturday with the third place and championship matches.
 
Matches will be played at Augustana’s tennis courts, but in the event of bad weather, matches will be played at the Quad City Tennis Club, 1522 47th Ave., Moline.
 
Saturday’s champion will earn the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Men’s Tennis Championship.
