"Perspectives" with Dr. Daniel Chetel

Dr. Daniel Chetel, director of the Augustana Symphony Orchestra, will be interviewed on the WVIK "Perspectives with Mindy Huesel" program to talk about the orchestra's upcoming concert.

The symphony  will perform "The Power of Fate." at 8 p.m. May 13 in Centennial Hall.

The performance will be an exploration of three musical treatments of fate, including Verdi's dramatic overture to the opera "La Forza del Destino," Tchaikovsky's romantic depiction of Shakespeare's ill-fated lovers in his "Romeo and Juliet" overture, and Beethoven's groundbreaking Symphony No. 5.
