Faculty recital: Patricia Weitzel, double bass; composition premieres
Dr. Patricia Weitzel, assistant professor of music, will perform a recital on double bass, premiering four pieces of music written by Augustana student composers John Briggs, Douglas Ganster, Joshua Iyer and Gabriel Lance. Audience members will have an opportunity to vote for their favorite piece.
Dr. Weitzel is a soloist, chamber musician and orchestral performer with the Des Moines and Quad City symphonies.
