Hitler on the Roof: A Play for Two Clowns
The Akvavit Theatre Company of Chicago will perform "Hitler on the Roof: A Play for Two Clowns."
American-Danish playwright Rhea Leman’s dark comedy, written in response to a rise in Danish nationalism, has Nazi propagandists Dr. Joseph Goebbels and Leni Riefenstahl spending eternity going over the past.
Performances are free; seating is limited. A second performance will be offered at 7:30 p.m. April 20 here.
The performances are sponsored by the departments of Scandinavian studies and theatre arts at Augustana, and funded by the Marianne and Marcus Wallenberg Foundation.
