Martin Luther King Jr. Day Community Celebration

The theme for this year's celebration is "Be the Light," from from the Martin Luther King Jr. quote: "Only in the darkness can you see the stars." 

There will be art, poetry, dance and music at this annual event. 

The featured guests will be Dexter Walker and Zion Movement, a competition choir from Chicago. This choir was the Chicago regional winner and Verizon's people choice winner of the Verizon "How Sweet the Sound" competition.

Also appearing will be artist Chinetana Phounsavath, as well as the Teranga Drum Circle.
