Augustana Endowment Society: The Extraordinary Geography of our River Valley
The Augustana Endowment Society will hear from Dr Reuben Heine, Augustana's Edward Hamming Chair in Geography. His topic is "The Extraordinary Geography of our River Valley."
The music department's "Listen and Learn" will follow after.
A brief business meeting will follow with a serving of light refreshments.
Founded in 1894, the society is an independent group of friends of the college who contribute to various strategic college initiatives through collection of annual dues and investment in securities. It meets the first Wednesday of each month during the academic year at 1:30 p.m. in the Westerlin Hall lounge.
