Flute Choir recital

Augustana's Flute Choir will perform, featuring student directors Rebecca Bieber and Ainslie Lounsbury.

The Flute Choir is a chamber ensemble of flutists which makes use of the entire flute family: piccolo, flute, alto flute and bass flute. Founded by instructor Janet Stodd in 1988, the ensemble performs concerts under her direction every term, both on and off campus.

Bieber is a senior from Lake Zurich, Ill., majoring in neuroscience and biology. Lounsbury is a junior from Libertyville, Ill., majoring in instrumental music education and Scandinavian studies.

Janet Stodd and Susan Schwaegler, instructor of the clarinet choir, will perform a duet on the concert.
