Rumi's Wedding Night

The Muslim Student Association invites students to come together and share their favorite poems, songs, spoken word, etc., written by themselves or others. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

Students who'd like to participate are welcome to show up and speak at the event. No advance sign-up is needed.

Rumi was a Persian Muslim poet of the 13th century whose work was highly influential in literature, particularly in Persia, Turkey, Iran and Greece. His work was admired by people across all religions. He was regarded as a humanitarian, and his poems advocated for peace, love, charity, and more.
