Symposium Day
Symposium Day is an alternative day of learning that includes presentations by faculty, students, staff, alumni and invited speakers.
Programming will include three concurrent sessions from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The afternoon will be reserved for learning through the advising relationship. (See the complete schedule.)
In addition to programs led by individuals across campus, there will be featured speakers: Dr. Rebecca Ginsburg, director of the Education Justice Project, University of Illinois; Dr. Scott Warren, a cultural geographer from Ajo, Ariz.; Lizeth Tamayo ’16, a doctoral student in genetic epidemiology, University of Chicago; and Fury Young, BL Shirelle and Maxwell Melvins of Die Jim Crow.
