Dr. Emily Landon: 'From Pandemic to Endemic'
Dr. Emily Landon ’99 will present "From Pandemic to Endemic."
Dr. Landon has been a familiar face to Illinois households since March 2020 as an advisor to Gov. J.B. Pritzker and a primary architect of the state's response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
She is the chief infectious disease epidemiologist at University of Chicago Medicine and an associate professor of medicine. In addition, Dr. Landon is a medical ethicist at the MacLean Center for Clinical Medical Ethics at the university.
Her lecture is sponsored by the Augustana Center for the Study of Ethics and the Augustana public health program.
