Guest artist Kate Boyd, piano
Guest artist Kate Boyd, professor of piano at Butler University, will perform works by Beethoven, Chopin and Debussy.

A native of Rock Island, she holds degrees from Stony Brook University, Oberlin Conservatory, and the Hannover (Germany) Academy of Music.
Boyd received the 2019 Teacher of the Year award from the Indiana Music Teachers Association and the 2017 Outstanding Professor of the Year award from Butler University. In summers, Boyd serves as the head of the piano faculty of the internationally-renowned Interlochen Arts Camp in northern Michigan.
