Jazz concert: Swingin' Christmas at Augustana

Augustana's Jazz Ensemble and Combos will perform their second annual "Swingin' Christmas at Augustana" with a variety of holiday favorites, including "Sleigh Ride" (as performed by The Glenn Miller Orchestra), "Winter Wonderland" (as sung by Ella Fitzgerald) and "Jingle Bells" (as performed by The Count Basie Orchestra).

The Augustana Jazz Ensemble also will play three movements of the famous “Ellington Nutcracker” — Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn’s reinterpretation of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite.
