Quad City Symphony Orchestra: 'Ode to Joy'

The Quad City Symphony Orchestra will open its 108th season with Jonathan Bailey Holland’s "Ode," a minimalist and hip-hop-influenced response to Ludwig van Beethoven and his 9th Symphony through a 21st-century lens.

The QCSO will then bring Beethoven’s exuberant and transcendent 9th Symphony to life, with a full chorus led by Dr. Jon Hurty, Augustana professor of music, and featuring Katherine Pracht, mezzo-soprano.
