Cathy Dowd '92 will present "A Storyteller's Impact in Public Service" about her work as a public affairs specialist with the U.S. Forest Service.
Dowd joined the Forest Service in 2009 as a policy analyst in research and development and worked as a natural resource specialist for the agency’s Climate Change Advisor. Her work focuses on wildland fire management.
At Augustana, she majored in biology with minors in geography and environmental studies. Her talk is sponsored by the geography department.
