Women's soccer vs. Carroll College: 'Pink-Out' breast cancer awareness game

Pink-Out soccer game poster

The Augustana Vikings women's soccer team will play Carroll College.

To raise awareness for breast cancer, the game theme will be "pink-out." Attendees are encouraged to wear pink and donate to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast cancer is a pervasive and life altering disease that affects countless individuals and families across the globe. The women’s soccer team has personal experiences with family and friends that have been affected by this disease. By donating to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, the team aims to raise crucial funds and awareness for breast cancer research and support services. This fundraiser is not just another soccer game, it’s an opportunity to make a tangible impact in the fight against breast cancer.
