International Men's Day reception

On November 19, 2024, International Men's Day, a men's leadership event sponsored by the Office of Sexual Assault Prevention Education will take place at Lindberg Commons from 4-5 p.m. At the event, we will honor students, faculty and staff who represent healthy examples of masculinity.

To nominate someone who has demonstrated admirable masculine qualities, please use this form.

Though you can nominate anybody, we recommend you nominate someone from the campus community. When nominating, consider who is a positive male role model, promoting qualities like honesty, leadership, dedication, community engagement, social responsibility, balance between strength and vulnerability, and equality and inclusion advocacy. A second voting form will be shared later with the three most nominated candidates.

About International Men's Day

International Men's Day (IMD) is a global awareness day for many issues that men face, including parental alienation, abuse, homelessness, suicide and violence, recognized annually on Nov. 19. It is also an occasion to celebrate boys' and men's lives, achievements and contributions, in particular for their contributions to the nation, union, society, community, family, marriage and child care.
