2025 Geifman Prize in Holocaust Studies winners
The Center for the Study of Judaism and Jewish Culture is pleased to announce the winners of this year's Geifman Prize in Holocaust Studies.
The Geifman Prize in Holocaust Studies is an annual competition for Augustana students with awards of up to $500. Submissions may include essays, research papers, poetry, drama, film, artwork, musical composition or other creative expressions that focus on the European Holocaust from 1933 to 1945.
The winners for 2025 are:
- First place: Jensen Stoneking '27, for the essay titled "The Queer Holocaust." Stoneking will be awarded $500.
- Second place: Charlize Cardenas '26, for the painting titled "Jewish Star." Cardenas will be awarded $300.
