Augustana advances to championship game

Augustana advanced to Saturday's championship game of the CCIW Tournament with a 72-64 win over Wheaton at Carver Center.

The game will begin at 7 p.m.  vs. North Central College. The winner will receive an automatic berth in the NCAA D3 Men's Basketball Tournament.

Augustana won both games it played against North Central this year, but the Cardinals defeated the Vikings in the conference tournament championship game last year in Kenosha, Wis.
