Dance groups host summer clinics Aug. 24-25

The Augustana Dance Company, a performing arts group, and the Augustana Vikettes, the poms/dance team, are hosting their summer clinics August 24-25. New students are invited to move in early, meet and spend time with other dancers and work on routines ahead of group tryouts at the beginning of the school year.

The Augustana Dance Company embraces the artistic world of dance and provides those who have an interest in dance with an opportunity to learn and grow their performance and technique. The group explores a variety of dance styles. At the summer clinic, you will work on technique, learn two choreographed dances and one personal choreography for final auditions. Contact the Dance Company for more information or sign up.

The Vikettes Pom Squad perform creative dance routines and entertainment during half-time at all home football and basketball games. The summer clinic is a chance to learn the routines for football season tryouts, which will be held in week one, and work on technique. Contact Ariana Pullara or Emily Farmer for more information or to sign up.
