Lohmeier wins NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship
Augustana senior Hannah Lohmeier, a standout for the Vikings on the soccer field for four years, has been named the winner of an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship.
The $7,500 grant is awarded to "student-athletes who excel academically and athletically and who are in their final year of intercollegiate athletics competition."
Lohmeier is one of just 29 female student-athletes (all divisions) in the country to win the honor. She also is a a two-time Academic All-American.
The biochemistry major never missed a game during her entire career. She plans to attend Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and become a clinical physician.
She is the 38th Augustana athlete to win an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship.
