Slough path now open

The Augustana slough path is now reopened for campus and community use following the completion of the new water pipe installation and path restoration.

Crews remaining on site are completing site cleanup and putting the final touches on the erosion-preventing gabion wall. Crews will open the valve to begin the refiling process on Feb. 5. The restoration of the slough waters will be gradual and could get a boost from any snow or rainfall the area receives.
