Surgeon finds fixing knees, hips rewarding

Alumnus Dr. Scott Miller, 33, is an orthopedic surgeon with Health First Medical Group in Florida. A first-generation student, Dr. Miller majored in sociology, history and biology at Augustana.

He specializes in orthopedics because "I feel like joint replacement gave me the best opportunity to legitimately make a difference."
