Used cameras needed for Nepal project

Dr. Carolyn Yaschur, associate professor of multimedia journalism and mass communication, is looking for donations of used point-and-shoot cameras (and chargers) for a photojournalism workshop in Nepal next fall.

She will travel to Nepal as part of Girl Reports, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering girls by teaching them journalism.

In exchange for your donated camera or a monetary donation to help buy cameras, you'll receive some Girl Reports swag. There will be a table set up in the Brew after spring break for donations. Please contact Dr. Yaschur with any questions.
