It Begins With A!
A special event for admitted students on April 12, 2025
It Begins with A is a tradition at Augustana. And it's a celebration!
It's a day for admitted students to meet others who have chosen Augustana, and those still deciding.
Take a campus tour, have lunch in the dining hall and go to a variety of informational sessions.
You also may participate in another Augie tradition: If you know you will join the Augustana Class of 2029, you can celebrate by ringing the gong.
Schedule
- 8:15 a.m. — Campus tour (optional)
- 9:15 a.m. — Check-in
- 9:30 a.m. — Welcome address
- 10:15 a.m. — Session 1
- 11:15 a.m.-1 p.m. — Cultural Connections reception (optional)
- 11:15 a.m. — Session 2 or lunch
- 12:15 p.m. — Session 3 or lunch
- 1:15 p.m. — Future Viking Activities (students only) and Parent Panel Discussion (parents and guests)
- 2:30 p.m. — Celebration with Admissions
