Augustana Film will celebrate the most accomplished work coming out of the program at its third annual spring premieres showcase and awards event. Doors open at 4:30; films will run from 5-7 p.m.
Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies 40th anniversary celebration
The Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies program will celebrate its 40th anniversary and the official launch of its new gallery-lounge space. All are welcome to join for refreshments, camaraderie and coalition-building.

Poet and novelist Paige Lewis will be the April 23, 2026, River Readings guest at Augustana.
VO2 Max testing
Trained students from Augustana's Kinesiology program will conduct VO2 Max (cardiovasculary fitness) tests from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Guest speaker: Dr. Jennifer Lee, 'Optical Cavities for Gravity Sensing'
The 2026 Harry Nelson Lecture in Astronomy will be given by Dr. Jennifer Lee of BAE Systems SMS. The talk, "Optical Cavities for Gravity Sensing," will be held on Friday, April 10, at 7:30 p.m. in Hanson Hall of Science Room 102. Admission is free and the talk is open to the public.
Dance Co. Spring 2026 Performance
Dance Co. will present their spring performance on May 17 at 7 p.m. in the Brunner Theatre Center.
UNYK Spring Show
UNYK Multicultural Dance Troupe will present a spring showcase with high-energy dance, powerful music, and styles from around the world.
Waffle Day (Våffeldagen)
The American Scandinavian Association will serve a Waffle Day meal of waffles, sausage, lingonberry and coffee. It is open to the public.
Cost is $11 for adults and $9 for students.
Planetarium and geology museum open house
Augustana College's John Deere Planetarium and Fryxell Geology Museum will be open to the public on Saturday, April 25, 2026, for an evening of gazing and space shows.
