Swenson Center open house and exhibit unveiling
The Swenson Swedish Immigration Research Center will host an open house and the unveiling of the new permanent exhibit "Swedish Immigration to North America."
The exhibit features a timeline of Swedish immigration, settlement maps of Swedish-American communities, and thematic panels featuring images from the Center's archival collections. Text for the exhibit was written by Dr. Dag Blanck, director of the Center. Funding for this exhibit was provided by the Swedish Council of America.
The open house will take place between 3:30 and 5 pm. Come and go as you are able. Free and open to the public.

The Swenson Swedish Immigration Research Center, located in the Denkmann building at Augustana College, is a national library and archives providing resources for the study of Swedish immigration to North America.
