Eating Disorders Awareness Week film: 'Still Killing Us Softly 4'
As part of National Eating Disorders Awareness Week, there will be a screening of the film "Still Killing Us Softly 4" on the topic of body distortion in the media. The public is welcome.
After the film, a panel will discuss eating disorder treatments and the link between body image and eating disorders.
Panel members will include representatives from support groups, health-care providers and Amy's Gift, a community organization affiliated with UnityPoint Health/Trinity.
The documentary film is based on a lecture by Jeane Kilbourne.
