Augustana’s MS-SLP program meets the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation requirements for the Speech-Language Pathologist License required for practice in Illinois.
Augustana's Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology curriculum and clinical experiences provide the requirements for state speech-language pathology licensure for the following states*:
Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Washington DC, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

Augustana’s MS-SLP program is approved by the Illinois State Board of Education for the Professional Educator License (PEL), School Support Personnel endorsement for speech-language pathologists (non-teaching) for Pre-K to age 22.
Additionally, Augustana's MS-SLP curriculum and clinical experiences provide the requirements for teaching credentials for the following states:*
