Are you where you thought you’d be four years ago?
No. Four years ago I thought I would be a psychology major. I ended up having a stronger passion for math and sociology.
Your peak experience?
The first team meeting after the track team won the 2010 CCIW championship. It was so amazing because everyone was filled with so much joy, and Coach Olsen gave a very moving and powerful speech.
What did you learn about yourself in these past four years that surprised you?
I learned that I can strive under pressure.
Besides your family, who helped you get to where you are now?
My advisors Dr. Croll and Dr. Claus. They both helped me pick classes that would broaden my horizons and allow me to become more open to new ideas.
Advice for this fall's incoming class?
Join clubs and be active on campus…and be sure to make the next four years great while you celebrate life.
