Viking Connections: Amy Rector
Amy Rector co-owns a small business with three partners - two businesses under one roof. PGI works with life insurance companies doing training and reference material, and EDS works with nonprofits doing planned gift marketing materials. Amy's title is SVP Content Strategy. She does writing, editing, proofing and project management, along with managing people and doing the tasks associated with running the business.
"Not only did I attend Augustana, but my daughter just graduated from Augie in 2022 with a biology degree, so I've had the chance to experience it a bit through her. I loved my time at Augie and so did my daughter. And while I did not end up taking the path I thought I would when I graduated, I've had a good career and ended up doing things I never expected."
