Viking Connections: Caitlin Lebel

Caitlin Lebel

Caitlin Lebel is employed by AmeriCorps and the Florida State Parks as part of the Florida Conservation Corps program. She works with about 45 of Florida's state parks and trails to develop interpretative programs, panels, recruit volunteers, and other related duties.

"When I was a student, I felt like most of the alumni that offered support through the career center were just business majors or other unrelated fields I couldn't relate to. Both during my time at Augustana I experience a wide variety of jobs and internships. I hope I can help guide students who seek advice from somewhat recent alumni who is an early career professional, as opposed to someone who is quite far along in their career and who may not be able to relate to the current job market for graduating students. My past experiences: shadowed veterinarians, interned at zoos, interned at Illinois State Geological Survey, graduate school, Florida State Parks, outreach & interpretation"
