Viking Connections: Elaine Worcester
Elaine Worcester is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Chicago and is a nephrologist and clinical researcher with University of Chicago Medicine in Chicago.
"I have mentored University of Chicago students interested in careers in biomedicine, and would like to do the same for Augustana students. Over the course of my career I have spent time as a bench researcher, clinical nephrologist in both academic and private practice, and clinical researcher. I have also raised 3 children while maintaining an active career. I look forward to providing guidance to current and future Augustana students who are seeking careers as physicians and/or researchers."
