Viking Connections: Kara Noonan

Kara Noonan is a behavioral ecologist and marine biologist studying the effects of disturbance regimes on coral communities and reef fish populations at Clemson University in Clemson, S.C. When she isn't underwater, Kara is an undergraduate mentor and teaching assistant for Clemson Courses ranging from vertebrate biology to behavioral ecology.

"I would not be in the career I am today without the mentors I met outside of Augustana. I want to make sure that students at Augustana are aware of the range of opportunities and careers available to them if they are interested in Biology but don't want to go into health sciences! Team animal research!"
