Scandinavian Studies alumni fika

Augustana Scandinavian Studies alum are invited to enjoy fika in the Swenson Center (Denkmann). Fika is immediately following the program "Sweden as Our Classroom: Partnerships with Uppsala University and Beyond" at 9:00 a.m. in Wallenberg Hall.

Mahjong Tournament

The Mahjong Club hosts its official semester tournament. People can compete for a spot as a finalist in the tournament for prizes. There will be traditional food/snacks provided for all who attend.

Augie Acres succulent night

Augie Acres is hosting a free succulent night. In order to receive a free succulent, you must attend three Augie Acres events, such as a meeting or work party.

Pearce retiring from WVIK; reception Oct. 25

Jay Pearce, chief executive officer and general manager of Quad Cities NPR affiliate WVIK, will retire Oct. 28 after 11 years at the station.

Texas Medical Center internships info meeting

An informational session and application workshop will be held for juniors interested in the Texas Medical Center Summer Research Internship Program.

This is a paid full-time, 10-week research internship in Houston., open to all major.
