Recital to feature composers 'Lighting a Candle'

An upcoming Augustana faculty recital, "Lighting a Candle," will bring together sonatas by two composers who lived through the dark times of the Holocaust and the Stalin era.

Kimberly La Palm and Lisa Huntsha will lead a tour on artworks and archived papers of Charles Haag, a Swedish-American sculptor and woodcarver.

Student recital: Anne Bak, cello

Anne Bak, a sophomore from Peoria, Ill., majoring in music, will perform on cello. She will be accompanied by pianist Robert Elfline, associate professor of music.
