Heywire competes for laughs
Heywire, Augustana’s student improv group, offers students a break from the stress of college life. To broaden their abilities for a wider audience, the group recently competed for the first time at in the lllinois Collegiate Improv Regionals.
Composition student hears her 'Les Ballons' performed
Junior Monica Gil first started composing music in middle school and hasn't stopped. This year she's had the chance to hear one of her compositions performed by Augustana's Jenny Lind Vocal Ensemble.
Sexual Health Education Fair
Students from PUBH 380: Sexuality & Health Education will host a sexual health education fair from 12:30-3 p.m. Displays will include topics ranging from sexual communication, birth control, STIs, sexuality and media, and more.
"Through the Forest" concert to bring warmth in winter
The Augustana Symphony Orchestra's winter concert, "Through the Forest" will give listeners an artistic treatment of the natural world, including darkness, power, fear and excitement.

Super Bowl Sunday Mass will begin at 1 p.m. in the Gerber Center, Gävle Room.
(This is a change from the usual 5 p.m. Mass in Ascension Chapel.)

"Elephant's Graveyard" auditions
The Elephant Project will hold auditions for its production of the "Elephant's Graveyard" from 6:30-9:30 p.m. March 6 in the Wilson Center. Callbacks will be from 6:30-9:30 March 7 if needed.
