Masterworks IV: Joined by a River
The program opens with the subtle and melodic Dawn on the Moscow River by Mussorgsky, colorfully orchestrated by Rimsky-Korsakov. Then, the QCSO continues its tradition of commissioned World Premieres with Michael Abels’ new work inspired by our river journey.

Art Exhibition: Art above 66° 33'
The exhibition considers the issues, history and environment of the polar areas, spanning media, process and subject; from the figural to the abstract, tactile to sound, analog to digital.
