Swenson Hall of Geosciences

The departments of geography and geology are located in the Swenson Hall of Geosciences.

The hall has a geographic information system (GIS) lab for students and faculty to use.

It's also the home of the Fryxell Geology Museum.

Formerly the New Science Building, the remodeled Swenson Hall of Geosciences opened in 1968 and was renovated in 2001. It is named after Carl E. Swenson of Rockford in honor of his bequest to Augustana.

Environmental studies open house
