2024 Audre Lorde Prize winners announced

The Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (WGSS) program has announced the winners of the 2024 Audre Lorde Prize. The awards are named in honor of Audre Lorde (1934-1992), an intersectional feminist writer and civil rights activist who wrote the foundational text "Sister Outsider" (1984). Awards are given annually.

2024 Ethics Essay Contest winners announced

Claire Martino, a junior from New Berlin, Wis., majoring in applied mathematics and data science, is the winner of the 2024 Ethics Essay Contest for the essay "Artificial Intelligence Could Probably Write This Essay Better than Me."

Students attend national character and leadership symposium

Four students represented Augustana at the 31st annual National Character and Leadership Symposium (NCLS) at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo. NCLS is an annual two-day symposium in which participants hear distinguished scholars, military leaders, corporate executives and world-class athletes share stories of character and leadership.

Augustana’s Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology program earns full accreditation

The full accreditation status was achieved over four years and recognizes the high standards of Augustana's program. The 24-month program launched in 2020 and the first cohort graduated in May 2022.
