Opening Convocation marks the official start of the academic year. First-year students and families will join President Andrea Talentino as she addresses the incoming students and welcomes them to the college.
Augustana selects Reynard Benschop to serve as director of Student Activities, Leadership & Engagement
Reynard Benschop will lead the college’s Office of Student Life and Leadership (OSL), which hosts events and experiences that complement Augustana’s classroom learning and leads the way in engaging students in campus life.
Augie Abroad Photo Contest 2023-2024 winners announced
Emma Watts '25 was the grand prize winner for the Augie Abroad photo contest for 2023-2024. The contest was open to all Augustana students who went on a study abroad trip or term between summer 2023 and spring break 2024.

Frere '26 named Augustana's 179th Academic All-American
This is the second consecutive year Augustana has been represented on an Academic All-American team. Charlotte Frere, a biology and kinesiology double major from Preemption, Ill., won the national DIII title this past season in the discus and has a 3.94 GPA.

Augustana selects Sam Wright to serve as LGBTQ+ coordinator

Augustana earned a 4.5 star ranking in the 2024 list that analyzed 745 four-year colleges based on graduation rates, cost of attendance, financial aid, alumni salaries and more in its ranking.
2024 Viking Club Golf Outing
The 14th annual Viking Club Golf Outing will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7, with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. at the beautiful TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill.

Join fellow Vikings in the Rockford area to rock out to Rockford's very own The Sensations! This event is complimentary to register, but admission to the Anderson Japanese Gardens is $12 for adults, $11 for seniors, $10 for students and military and free for children 5 years and younger.
