Pianist John Flannery '24 received a $2,500 award from the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) after performing his composition titled "My Body Turns Toward Thee Again" with vocalist Abriana Tereza '24 at the annual MTNA conference.

Spring ensemble tours deepen performance skills
This spring, the Augustana Symphonic Band traveled the Midwest, the Augustana Choir toured California and the Jenny Lind Vocal Ensemble performed three concerts in Illinois. Through these tours, Augustana students get to experience different cultures and share their love of music with others.
Track & Field and Cross Country Golf Outing
The inaugural Augustana Track & Field and Cross Country Golf Outing will take place on Sunday, July 28, at Saukie Golf Course in Rock Island, Ill. Cost is $400 per foursome or $100 per person. If you wish to only attend dinner, registration is $35 per person.
Augustana College recognizes the Class of 2024
The commencement address was given by Dr. Lisa Durant-Jones, who served as Augustana's interim vice president for diversity, equity and inclusion during the 2023-2024 academic year. Viet Bui '24, an engineering physics and computer science double major from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, was the featured student speaker.
