Kent Barnds to lead strategy, innovation at Augustana
Barnds’ new role will prioritize attracting and retaining students from across the globe to Augustana, maintaining a high-quality student experience, and strengthening and inspiring philanthropic support. Barnds is in his 18th year of service to the college.
Sorensen Hall entrance closures
Due to construction, the first-floor main entrance and second-floor bridge entrance to Sorensen Hall will be closed until Monday, June 12. Please use the entrances located on the east side (alley) of Sorensen Hall to access the building.

Making a difference 4,400 miles from home
Trilinguist Clémence Doumengès, a graduate student from France’s University of Pau, interned with Augustana’s French program this semester. In addition to team-teaching with Dr. Kiki Kosnick, she led or assisted with co-curriculars for all language students, including escape rooms!
